Meet the team
Bruce Boyd
I’m a commercial, brand, and event photographer with a background in film. My journey began with a formal education in film, followed by a stint as a web specialist, before I transitioned into full-time professional photography.
I spent several years in the Middle East, where I taught photography and worked on advertising campaigns for international agencies such as TBWA, Oxygen, and Saatchi. After returning to South Africa, I specialised in commercial photography—particularly in the kids’ fashion space (working with brands like Keedo, Pep, and Sticky Fudge) and furniture (including clients like Block and Chisel). Alongside this, I continued to pursue brand and event photography.
What started as a side hustle revealed the marketing potential that strong brand and event imagery holds for businesses. This insight led to the creation of Imagebank.co.za—a company built not only to provide high-quality photographic services but also to host images on a user-friendly platform and also provide a Social Media Management services. Clients can easily view, curate favourites, and download images, making the process of working with visual content simple and enjoyable.

Jac Kritzinger
I’m an editorial, lifestyle and travel photographer with more than fifteen years industry experience and hold a BA Hons. degree in Film Studies and Visual Media.
Whatever the assignment, an edgy, stylized aesthetic remains a key element in my work, reflecting my commitment to turn moments into magic and perfect the art of visual storytelling through the language of light. My passion for creating powerful, decisive images that reflect and capture the essence of clients’ brands is the driving force behind my creative lens, complimented by a strong work ethic and unbridled joy in what I do. Also, I’ve found that a sense of humour doesn’t hurt!
Clients include Media24, Caxton Media, Moonlighting, De Kat, Mercedes Benz, The Nelson Mandela Foundation, Financial Times, American Express, British Airways, FHM, Mail & Guardian, KykNet, Vrij Nederland, Bookforum and Penguin Random House. William Hickman
I'm a cinematographer and video editor based in Cape Town, South Africa where my love for storytelling has led me on an amazing career path, immersing myself in all aspects of production from pre to post and creating my art through composition, narrative, sound design and colour.
My expertise lies in creating compelling visual pieces that brings my clients visions to life. Specialising in a wide range of genres including corporate, fashion, documentary, online brand films and social media, My portfolio showcases my ability to tell stories through the lens of a camera and on the timeline of the edit suite.

Michaela Horn
Michaela is the backbone of imagebank.co.za and handles all photo editing for super-fast turnaround times.
She also develops and executes social media strategies to build and maintain the clients online presence. Key responsibilities include creating and scheduling content, engaging with the online audience, running and analyzing social media campaigns, and reporting on performance metrics to stakeholders.
